Marifer Seguy, Entrepreneur & Restaurateur
María Fernanda Seguy is an entrepreneur from the border region of Brownsville, Texas, and Matamoros, Tamaulipas, where life on both sides of the border shaped who she is. Trained in Los Angeles as a stylist and makeup artist, she began her journey in the fashion industry at a young age and returned home at 19 to launch and grow multiple business ventures, always evolving and on the move. Balancing creativity and tradition, she is also part of her family's long-standing feed and seed business, a contrast she embraces as having the best of two worlds, which she expresses through her Western fashion girl aesthetic. In recent years, María Fernanda has expanded her entrepreneurial path into the restaurant industry, blending creativity, hospitality, and community in everything she builds. Driven by her passion for impact and fairness, she also created an annual debutante program in Brownsville focused on empowering young girls through confidence, growth, and opportunity.
