Improve Your Health while Saving Money
How does 35 percent savings on prescription costs sound?
It can be a reality for everyone in southern Cameron County thanks to the FamilyWize prescription drug discount card, being distributed free-of-charge by United Way of Southern Cameron County.
The card, which could lower the cost of medicine by an average 35 percent, is available with no age or income restrictions and can be used as often as needed.
Print your card today by going to www.FamilyWize.org. Simply present the card and your prescription to a participating pharmacy and you'll pay either the discounted price or the pharmacy's retail price — whichever is lower.
United Way of Southern Cameron County is one of more than 750 United Ways nationwide working to save people $30 million during the next year on the cost of medicine. More than 10 million discount cards already have been distributed.
Health — along with education and income — is one of United Way's three focus areas. United Way is committed to improving our community's health and helping uninsured families access medical care and alleviate costs.
