It’s that time of year! Please join United Way of Southern Cameron County – Success By 6 and several community partners in celebrating Dr. Seuss with a HUGE Birthday Bash on Monday, March 2nd from 3:00-5:00 PM at Dean Porter Park in Brownsville! Turn your afternoon into a fun learning opportunity for you and your family and GET OUT AND PLAY as we celebrate Read Across America Day! Come listen to your favorite Dr. Seuss stories, eat birthday cake, play and even dress up as your favorite Dr. Seuss character! Ride the train over the revamped Born Learning Trail and make a pledge to Read Across America in your home! Maybe you can even spot Thing One and Thing Two!
Bring your children, family, and friends for an afternoon of readings in the park with your favorite Dr. Seuss characters and books. Take time to register for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and enjoy crafts, activities, parent resources, and snacks for FREE! The first 100 children also receive FREE books!
